Central Methodist University is seeking Graduate Assistant Coach for Men’s Basketball. This position is responsible for Head Junior Varsity Coach and assistant varsity Coach. Duties include; provide athletic coaching, supervision, recruiting, academic monitoring, fundraising, video exchange, editing and breakdown responsibilities along with other duties related to the sport of basketball as assigned by the head coach. This person is also responsible for obtaining a CDL driver’s license.

Central Methodist University is a small liberal arts institution located in the heart of Missouri. CMU is a member of the Heart of America Athletic Conference and National Association of intercollegiate Athletics.

Applicants must possess previous collegiate playing experience, coaching experience, video editing and breakdown experience is preferred, a bachelor’s degree and 3.0 GPA or close to be admissible in desired graduate program if offered the position. Preference will be given to candidates who possess previous coaching or playing experience and knowledge of CMU, the NAIA.

NOTES: Free Tuition through the CMU Graduate program. This is usually a two year program depending on the hours taken each semester. $5000 stipend plus room on campus or $7500 stipend no housing options.
