Siena Heights University (NAIA Div. II) and member of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, invites applications for the graduate assistant coaches position. This position is a combined position of varsity assistant men’s basketball coach and head junior varsity men’s basketball coach. The ten-month appointment begins August 2015 but will require participation in June summer camps and recruiting in July. Strong organizational skills which include planning and organizing a recruiting database as well as coordinating on-campus recruiting visits. This position will also include assisting the head coach with the daily operations of the varsity program, both on and off the court, as well as administration of the daily activities of the junior varsity program. Other key areas of the position are strong player development skills and the ability to coordinate team video needs. The selected candidate will be granted a tuition-waiver for 18 graduate credit hours per academic year and also a stipend of $6,000.
