Responsible for all aspects of coaching the District intercollegiate athletic team in the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference and the NJCAA, including but not limited to recruiting, coaching and administrative duties. Responsible for complying with policies and procedures set forth by St. Louis Community College, NJCAA, and MCCAC. Coordinates the Home and Away scheduling for District intercollegiate athletic team. Makes recommendations to the Manager of Athletics regarding program facility needs. Monitors the District team’s athletic operating and travel budgets; maintains record-keeping procedures. Monitors athletic eligibility, including academic progress of athletes. Coordinates athletic recruiting and scholarship awards for District intercollegiate athletic team. Performs normal supervisory functions for District intercollegiate athletic team. Explains and enforces college policies, safety rules and regulations for District intercollegiate athletic team. Maintains certification for CPR; First Aid; Blood Borne Pathogens; and Sexual Harassment.
