The assistant coach is responsible for assisting with all aspects of an NCAA Division I Basketball program including, but not limited to, the identification and recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes primarily in California; overseeing the academic progress of specific student-athletes; preparing and conducting practices and reviewing film for individual enhancement; fostering the academic, athletic, and personal growth of student-athletes; facilitating administrative duties and paperwork; liaison between Basketball program and Sports Information Department; communication with local coaches; community service outreach; and representing the sports program as needed in association with promoting and fundraising for men’s basketball.

Budgeted salary $44,400.

This is a contract position starting July 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016.
