I have now heard from multiple sources that Bryan Garmroth has been removed as the head coach at Catawba Valley CC (NC) just days before the season is scheduled to start.  I have also heard that he will be replaced by Ron Carson on an interim basis.  Carson was not an assistant at CVCC, but has been working at the college.  Garmroth had spent the past four seasons as the head coach at CVCC  – prior to that, had been the head coach at both UNC Pembroke and Spartanburg Methodist.  There has been no reason given for his departure.  More on this as I hear it.
