Thanks to great sources who have helped along the way with the search at UAB. Last night, I tweeted, “Person & Terry out at UAB. Ehsan the leader, Lavin gaining? 2 more names emerge. Announcement within 24h.” It now appears our sources were on the money on this one, and Rob Ehsan will in fact become the next head coach at UAB.

Ehsan had been on Jerod Hasse’s staff for the past four seasons, spending the past two as the associate head coach.  Before coming to UAB, he spent one season at Virginia Tech, and six seasons working for Gary Williams at Maryland. He was a popular choice among the current players during this search.
