Description:
The Intervention and Compliance Coordinator/Head Coach advises and implements institutional strategies and provides education and training to students and staff associated with the college’s Title IX compliance obligations as they relate to students. This position coordinates efforts of the behavioral intervention and violence prevention team and serves as the compliance coordinator for intercollegiate athletics. This position serves as the Head Coach for the assigned sport.

Description of essential functions (critical tasks):

1. Maintain current knowledge of regulations, statutes, and requirements regarding Title IX. Advise and implement internal processes as necessary to ensure compliance.
2. Collaborate with the Office of Institutional Research to conduct Campus Climate Surveys as related to Title IX.
3. Collaborate with the college’s Title IX Coordinator to initiate the Title IX investigation process including serving as an investigator.
4. Serve as a resource and implement ongoing training for students and staff regarding the student sexual misconduct policy and Title IX processes.
5. Coordinate efforts of the Behavioral Intervention and Violence Prevention Team including monitoring incident reports to ensure timely response.
6. Implement and maintain a case management/tracking plan for each reported Title IX or behavioral incident involving students.
7. Prepare annual statistical reports regarding the number, nature and disposition of behavioral and Title IX incidents.
8. Maintain current knowledge of NJCAA regulations and requirements. Advise and implement internal processes as necessary to ensure compliance.
9. Coordinate all matters related to initial and continuing eligibility for all sports teams including formal approval and submission of eligibility to NJCAA.
10. Maintain eligibility files for all student athletes on all teams and ensure readiness for NJCAA audit.
11. Fulfill duties of Head Coach for assigned sport (see job description).
12. Complete other projects related to the duties described as assigned by the supervisor.
