This position specifically supports the mission of the University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics by assisting in institutional compliance with NCAA and Conference rules and regulations.

Duties/Physical Demands:

-Responsible for oversight and management of the men’s basketball budget

-Oversight of scheduling both home and road games and contracts.

-Staff liaison for programmatic areas such as academics and facilities, as well as campus partners such as admissions.

-Men’s basketball contact for external affairs, including but not limited to marketing, multi media rights, special events, ticketing, equipment, athletic communications.

-Responsible for alumni engagement, including but not limited to newsletters, golf outings, social functions and reunions.

-Oversight of all student interns, managers and volunteers related to men’s basketball.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree

Relevant business or administration experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Division 1 men’s basketball coaching or playing experience

professional basketball experience (NBA or overseas)
