HOT: Florida A&M to Introduce New Head Basketball Coach Today

According to a report by the Tallahassee Democrat, Florida A&M will name Robert McCullum as their new Head Basketball Coach in a press conference today. McCullum, the current Assistant Director of Basketball Operations at Oregon, beat out Lindsay Hunter and Pat Kennedy for the job (FAMU Finalists).

The former head coach at Western Michigan and South Florida, McCullum holds a career record of 84-121 in seven seasons as a DI head coach. Has also been an assistant at Florida, Illinois, Kansas State, Central Florida, Georgia Tech, San Francisco, South Alabama, Samford, and Southern Illinois.

With two schools hiring coaches in the past 24 hours, this leaves Presbyterian as the lone DI school searching for a head coach. HoopDirt.com confirmed last night that Grambling will hire Stillman Head Coach Donte Jackson.
