St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting résumés for the 10-month full-time position of Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach/Assistant Game Day Operations.  Responsibilities include serving as assistant coach in a competitive NCAA Division III men’s basketball program and assisting in Game Day Operations.   Duties for the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach include assisting in all areas of coaching the men’s basketball team including, but not limited to, recruiting, organizing and planning practices and games strategies, and fund raising.  Duties for Assistant Game Day Operations may include set-up and breakdown of fields, greeting officials and visiting teams, escorting officials and visiting teams, supervising student workers and crowd supervision.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required and knowledge of NCAA and CAC rules and regulations.  Experience in collegiate coaching is preferred.  Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered.  Employment will be contingent upon successful of a criminal background check.
