Description:
Manages the day-to-day operations of the Men’s Basketball program to ensure an efficient and successful program.


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for scheduling all aspects of the program, including: intercollegiate competition, practice times and sites, team meals and meetings and any/all other team activities.
  • Manages all logistics pertaining to team travel, including transportation, lodging, and meals.
  • Manages the program’s summer basketball camps, including: Hiring of staff. Development of budget. All logistics of registration and execution of camp.
  • Supervision and development of the undergraduate student managers.
  • Ordering equipment, apparel, and supplies from the appropriate vendors.
  • On occasion may need to drive on behalf of the University.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Must be available by phone and email after typical business hours.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a sport or management-related field.
  • At least 4 years playing, coaching, or administrative experience is required.
  • Must have excellent organizational, computer, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to all University, NCAA and Northeast Conference rules and policies.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
