LaGrange College men’s basketball head coach Kendal Wallace announces the addition of Alec Colhoff to the coaching staff as a graduate assistant coach. Colhoff comes to LC from LeTourneau (Texas) University, where he was a three-year letterman in basketball.
Colhoff graduated from LeTourneau University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in leadership. He earned American Southwest Conference All-Academic team honors all three years at LeTourneau and selection to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honor Court for the last two years.
Colhoff was a team captain his senior year and helped lead LeTourneau to the best season in school history with a 24-5 record and the school’s first appearance in the NCAA Division III National Tournament. He was named to the ASC All-Conference first team as a senior and a three-time ASC All-East Division team selection. He holds school records for the single-game scoring record (32), 3-pointers in a game (9), 3-pointers in a season (82, twice), and 3-pointers in a career (218). Colhoff finished with 1,191 career points. LeTourneau went 58-25 during Colhoff’s three seasons.
