Bryant University head men’s basketball coach Jared Grasso has completed his staff for the 2018-19 season with the addition of Luke St. Lifer as the Bulldogs’ Director of Basketball Analytics.
“We are very excited to add Luke to our staff here at Bryant,” said Grasso. “His work ethic and enthusiasm will be a great fit as we try and build a championship program.”
St. Lifer will contribute to the Bryant staff in the areas of analytics and video, adding another staff member with championship experience to the Bulldogs. The Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, native graduated from Florida Southern in May after three seasons on the court for the Mocs, including an NCAA Division II tournament appearance in 2018. St. Lifer was a manager on the 2015 Florida Southern team that won a Division II national championship and served on student government as a freshman.
“I am extremely excited to be a part of the Bryant University staff and have the opportunity to learn and grow from Coach Grasso and the entire coaching staff here at Bryant,” said St. Lifer. “The way Coach Grasso runs his program – both on and off the court – has made it easy for me to transition from my time as a player at Florida Southern College.”
St. Lifer spent the summer of 2017 as the Director of Player Development Intern at Green Bay and gained experience as a summer camp coach at Iowa and Georgia Tech. He also worked as a summer coach at the Robert Jacobson Sports Foundation and John ByDook Basketball Academy.
The Bryant men’s basketball program will begin its 56th season and first under head coach Jared Grasso Tuesday, Nov. 6, with a game at Rhode Island. Ticket information for the 2018-19 season and the NEC television package will be announced at a later date.
