Multiple sources have confirmed that Jason Harrison is out after less than a year as the head men’s basketball coach at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

Harrison was hired back in June after a successful eleven year run at Holmes CC where he went 175-108, and led his team to the 2014-15 NJCAA DI Elite 8.

MGCCC is currently 14-7 (6-7) with one regular season game remaining before the MACJC Conference Tournament starts next Monday.

Current assistant Tyler Adams is expected to coach the team in the interim.
