I have heard from multiple sources that Chris Popp is out as the head men’s basketball coach at NJCAA D1 Missouri State West Plains.

Popp has been the head coach at the college for the past four years. This past season, his squad finished 10-21 (3-6), with his best season coming in 2017-18 when the Grizzlies went 25-9 and captured the NJCAA DI Region 16 Championship.

Prior to becoming the head coach at Missouri State West Plains, Popp had served as a D2 assistant at Arkansas-Fort Smith, Newman University, and Tabor College.
