JCCC is searching to fill our open position for a Head Coach for the Men’s basketball team. This position will recruit quality student/athletes for the JCCC Men’s basketball Team; develop recruiting contacts with local and state high school coaches; develop and implement a well-organized practice and competition schedule; coordinate off-season conditioning; provide athlete counseling as needed; complete all travel requests, reservations, transportation and itineraries; order, store and inventory all equipment; coordinate facility preparations; organize preparations for any home competition; administrate the program within the approved budget; assign duties to the assistant coaching staff as needed; and complete any other responsibilities listed in the job expectations for the coach. Job responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Recruit high quality student athletes

• Hiring staff
• Student-athlete development
• Home competition administration
• Facility and equipment organization
• Budget
• Purchase and inventory
• Department committee assignments/JCCC committee assignments
• Serve as a Campus Security Authority (CSA)
• Other duties as assigned
