Aaron Hungerford has been fired as the head basketball coach at the College of the Redwoods (CA). Current women’s assistant coach Darren Turpin has been named as the interim head coach, and Jain Tuey has been named as the interim assistant coach.

Hungerford was dismissed for a violation of department policy following his arrest early in the morning on Christmas Eve for DUI.

The team is currently 0-15 on the season.
