I can confirm that DII Fayetteville State (NC) will part ways with head men’s basketball coach Ken Spencer.

Spencer had been the head coach at FSU for the past three seasons, where he compiled a 27-57 overall record. This year, the Broncos went 6-20 (5-13 CIAA).

Before being hired at Fayetteville State back in 2016, he had served as the associate head coach at South Carolina State (2012-16), and as the head coach at St. Augustine’s (2010-12).

An official announcement is expected as early as today.
