Earlier today in the DAILY DIRT, I mentioned that Randall University (OK) head coach Mark Berokoff was the leader at NAIA Oklahoma City University. I have now heard from multiple sources that he is indeed the choice at OCU, and has already told his team at RU that he will be leaving.
Berokoff had been the head coach and AD at Randall for the past eight seasons. During his tenure he led the Saints to three NCCAA National Championships, and captured NCCAA D2 National Coach of the Year honors (2016 and 2019).
In addition to his time at RU, Berokoff also worked in administrative roles at the D1 level at Texas State and Louisiana Tech.
Berokoff will replace Tim Kisner who spent less than a year at OCU.
More on this when it becomes official.
