The Athletics Department at Marist College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as Director of Men’s Basketball Operations. The Director of Basketball Operations will assist the Head Men’s Basketball coach with its nationally competitive NCAA Division I intercollegiate men’s basketball program. The function of this position is to assist the men’s basketball program with day-to-day operations of the men’s basketball program. Marist College Men’s Basketball Program is a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).

Minimum

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required. 1-3 years basketball exposure at a Division I NCAA institution. Knowledge of NCAA Division I Rules and Guidelines required. Strong administrative and organizational skills to manage assignments, personnel, and equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Assist Head Men’s Basketball Coach with day-to-day administrative needs
• Coordinate team travel and logistics
• Assist with scheduling of practices and games
• Manage equipment
• Coordinate use of facilities, oversee student managers
• Assist with recruiting operations and community outreach program
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as men’s basketball player or coach at a Division I NCAA institution, preferred
