Peru State College seeks qualified applicants for Graduate Assistant – Men’s Basketball

PSC is a NAIA athletic institution which supports thirteen varsity and five junior varsity athletic teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, film breakdown, game day duties, assist at recruiting events, assist with varsity and junior varsity programs, and other duties as assigned by the head men’s basketball coach. This position will report directly to the head men’s basketball coach.

Peru State College is seeking qualified applicants a graduate assistant in men’s basketball. This is a 10-month appointment (Aug – May) with the opportunity of renewal after the first year. A bachelor’s degree is required before start date. Applicants must be accepted into a graduate program of study (online) at one of the three state colleges. Past experience coaching and/or playing volleyball is desired.

Start date to be determined, but not before August 1st. Compensation will be an annual $8,000 stipend and 18 hours graduate school tuition per year (student fee portion of online tuition rate and books will be the student’s responsibility). This position requires work hours outside of the normal workweek, including evening, weekend and holiday hours.
