Description:
Spartanburg Methodist College Men’s Basketball is looking for a talented and motivated person to fill a volunteer assistant coaching position within the program. This coach will work with our coaching staff in all aspects of running a collegiate men’s basketball program. This position is designed for an up and coming young coach trying to break into the collegiate coaching profession. Candidates should possess a commitment to being industrious, a strong basketball background, excellent organizational skills, a relentless work ethic, and a servants approach.

Responsibilities include:

– Academic Monitoring

– Player/Skill Development

– Recruiting

– Basketball Operations

– Opponent Scouting

– Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred experience: 

– Former collegiate playing / managing experience

– Microsoft office proficiency

– Adobe Photoshop
