As I mentioned the other day, Cliff Ellis is looking to hire at Coastal Carolina (http://www.hoopdirt.com/blog/3fa50ba1/todays-rumors-and-news…). Apparently he is now looking to replace his entire staff. Jamie Kachmarik has officially departed for Appalachian State, Scott Stapleton has gone to the Alabama Basketball Academy, and Raheem Waller has not been retained. That leaves DOB Jimbo Tolbert as the last man standing on the staff. Good luck Jimbo…..could be a loooong summer!

Lehigh Head Coach Brett Reed is looking for a pair of assistants. Bryan White has departed to play professional basketball overseas. No word on any replacements yet….I’ll let you know as soon as I hear something.

Coach Cal finalized his staff yesterday. Orlando Antigua, John Robic and Rod Strickland all join him from Memphis. We knew that they were all on board, just didn’t know that Strickland would be named as an assistant – he was an ops guy last year at Memphis. Coach Cal will name 3 or 4 guys to ops positions in the next few weeks.

Texas-Pan American has finally finished up their interview process. St. Edwards Head Coach Ryan Marks was on campus yesterday. I would expect a decision with in the next week. UTPA is the last DI school with a head coaching vacancy (although USC may have an opening soon……)
