Alabama staff update

Alabama men’s basketball head coach Anthony Grant announced the final changes to his staff for the upcoming 2013-14 campaign.

Former video coordinator Sean Dwyer moves into the special assistant to the head coach position, and will replace Antoine Pettway, who was promoted to assistant coach in May. Dwyer is entering his third season with the Alabama men’s basketball program after serving the previous two seasons as the video coordinator.

Tom Berryman moves from graduate assistant to the video coordinator position vacated by Dwyer, while Colton Houston also received a promotion, moving from athletics intern to operations coordinator – a role he has served in since mid-December.

In addition, Tim Morris rejoins the staff as graduate assistant. Morris, who earned his undergraduate degree at Stanford in 2008, served a graduate assistant on the UA staff during the 2009-10 campaign. He was an assistant coach at Kennesaw State, but decided to return to school at the Capstone in order to earn his doctorate in human performance.

"Each of these changes were made in the best interest of our program and also each individual," Grant said. "I feel each of these individuals have proved themselves to be ready to take the next step and I am excited about the staff we have as we head into the 2013-14 season."
