Kentucky associate head basketball coach Alvin Brooks III has reportedly not had his contract renewed by the Wildcats. No official statement from UK, but Brooks posted the following today on social media:

Grateful to Coach Pope, AD Mitch Barnhart, and President Dr. Capilouto for the opportunity to be part of the Kentucky family.

My family and I truly enjoyed our time in Lexington.

Brooks had been at Kentucky for the past two seasons, and spent eight years at Baylor before that. He has also worked as an assistant at Kansas State, Bradley, and Sam Houston State.
