Anthony Grant Visits Alabama

Anthony Grant visited Alabama yesterday. He arrived on campus at 10:00 and was taken to the Presidents mansion for his first meeting. Grant was accompanied by his wife and also met with football coach Nick Saban. Here’s a picture from the visit:

He left campus late last night without and announcement being made.

I wonder if Grant is waiting to see what happens with Billy Gillispie at Kentucky before making his decision. With the Wildcats being knocked out of the NIT last night, a decision is expected soon on the future of Bill G in Lexington. If he is released, look for Florida’s Billy to be the front runner for the Wildcats job. If that’s the case, I think Grant could get the Florida job – a job he covets (he won a national championship there as an assistant), and one he almost had when Donovan flip-flopped on the Orlando Magic. This will be interesting to see how this plays out. The domino effect will start with a decision at UK.
