I have heard that the Appalachian State Board of Trustees has called a meeting for this afternoon to vote on the approval of a new men’s basketball coach. I mentioned on Saturday that I had heard Davidson associate head coach Jim Fox was the choice here (http://hoopdirt.com/blog/ef61d24c/saturday-dallas-dirt/…), and it looks like my sources were correct. It sounds like the deal with Fox is done, and it just awaiting BOT approval. I’ll have more on this after the meeting (scheduled around 3pm EST).
