Arizona Basketball and head coach Sean Miller has completed its staff for the 2019-20 season with key promotions as familiar faces return to the program.
David Miller, a former student manager and graduate manager, has been named Director of On-Campus Recruiting and Basketball Analytics. His primary responsibilities now include overseeing all video operations, helping with organization of official and unofficial visits and managing the analytics and data needs of the program. Miller returns to Tucson following two seasons as Director of Operations at UC Santa Barbara. He spent two seasons on staff at Alabama prior to his time with the Gauchos.
Anthony Richards has been named Director of Student-Athlete Development after serving as a graduate manager for the program during the 2018-19 season. The Western Pennsylvania native is now a liaison for the program with C.A.T.S. Academics and the Compliance Office while overseeing the undergraduate managerial program. Richards is a 2018 graduate of Le Moyne College where he was a three-year basketball letterwinner before graduating with a degree in communications.
After spending the 2018-19 season as Arizona’s starting point guard, Justin Coleman is now a graduate manager for the program. Coleman played at Alabama and Samford prior to Arizona and completed his master’s degree and will begin his doctorate while in his new role.
Joining Coleman as a graduate manager is former student manager Justyn Thomas. Thomas spent four seasons as a manager from 2014- to 2018, which saw Arizona win 108 games with four NCAA Tournament appearances. A native of Fremont, California, Thomas graduated from Arizona in 2018 with a degree in communications.
