The Memphis Commercial appeal has reported that Memphis assistant Damon Stoudamire is departing to return to his alma mater Arizona as an assistant. He had been on Josh Pastner’s staff at Memphis for the past two seasons. After his graduation from Arizona, Stoudamire went on to become the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1996 and had a 13-year career in the league. More on this when the official announcement is made.
