N. Arizona names assistants
Jermone Riley, Matt Dunn and Vic Sfera were officially named assistant coaches at Northern Arizona University, Men’s Basketball Coach Jack Murphy announced. Landry Kosmalski, an assistant coach at Davidson College, has been named the head men’s basketball coach at Swarthmore College. Kosmalski, who replaces Lee Wimberly, is the 31st head coach in the 111-year history of Swarthmore men’s basketball. New deals for Kentucky staff
Kentucky men’s basketball coach John Calipari and assistant coaches Orlando Antigua, Kenny Payne and John Robic have signed multi-year contracts with the University of Kentucky, UK Athletics Director Mitch Barnhart announced on Friday. Steve Hall, who spent the last four seasons at Duquesne, has been named assistant coach on the men’s basketball staff, Youngstown State Head Coach Jerry Slocum announced. Wisconsin-Eau Claire finalists
The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire has narrowed their search down to four finalists. According to UWEC, there were 96 applicants and the final interviews will take place from May 7-11.
