BREAKING: Doherty fired at SMU

According to multiple outlets, Matt Doherty has been fired as the head coach at SMU. Doherty was 80-109 in six seasons (13-19 this season). SMU will pay Doherty $500,000 to cover the final year of his contract. More when this becomes official.
