Longtime Northwestern Oklahoma State University men’s basketball coach Bob Battisti is joining the staff at Oklahoma Christian University.

Battisti will work as an assistant coach under longtime Oklahoma Christian head coach Dan Hays, who is on the verge of becoming the career wins leader among Oklahoma-based college coaches.

Battisti retired in July after 25 years at Northwestern -21 as the head coach and the last four as the Alva University’s athletic director.
