Belmont University men’s basketball head coach Rick Byrd announced Friday the hiring of Tyler Holloway to the position of Director of Basketball Operations.
Holloway served the past two seasons as a graduate assistant for the Bruins while earning his master’s degree in Sport Administration from Belmont.
Holloway was a four-year letterwinner at Murray State University from 2006-09, where he was part of the Racers’ 2006 NCAA Tournament team. The sharpshooting guard scored 1,083 career points, becoming the 34th member of Murray State’s 1000 point club. Holloway is the Racers’ career leader in free throw percentage (.858) and second all-time in made three-point field goals (210).
