BIG SOUTH DIRT: Staff moves at Longwood

Story: Adam Nelson (@HD_DirtKing)

I can confirm a bunch of recent staff changes on Griff Aldrich’s staff at Longwood. The Lancers, coming off of a 26-7 season (Big South champs), and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament, have made the following moves:

Quinn McDowell has been hired as an assistant coach. The former player at William and Mary was an assistant for the past three seasons at Lehigh. He has also worked at D3 Virginia Wesleyan, and NAIA Taylor University. He replaces Cody Anderson, who became the head coach at Morgan County High School (GA).

Graham Bousley has been added as the special assistant to the head coach and recruiting coordinator. He had spent the past three seasons as an assistant at George Washington, and has also worked at Siena and Mount St. Mary’s. Bousley will replace Austin Shaver who has become the Associate Athletics Director for Brand Management & Revenue Generation at Longwood.

Brian Smith has been hired as the new video coordinator. He was most recently an assistant at D3 Lynchburg.

An official announcement on these moves is expected shortly.
