Presbyterian College men’s basketball and head coach Gregg Nibert announced the addition of Bill Morosco as assistant coach.

“Bill (Morosco) is very organized, loyal, and hard-working,” said Coach Nibert. “He wasn’t able to be on the court coaching at The Citadel so he’s looking forward to being able to go out and coach, participate at practice, and be able to recruit. He will be a great asset to John (Reynolds) and Cassius (Bosket).”

Morosco, who spent the 2015 season as Director of Basketball Operations at The Citadel oversaw the administrative areas of the Bulldogs’ basketball program including video and practice coordination, team travel, supervision of team managers and graduate assistants along with other responsibilities.

“I am extremely excited and humbled for the opportunity to work with someone as respected as Coach Nibert,” said Morosco. His experience is something that I look forward to learning from and his winning pedigree is something I hope to contribute to. Presbyterian College and the Clinton community have been unbelievably welcoming and I can already see why this place is so special. It’s a great time to be a Blue Hose and I am enormously thankful that Coach Nibert has given me this opportunity.”

The Wellington, Fla., native spent the 2014-15 season as a graduate assistant at UC Davis under Jim Les. His duties with the Aggie basketball program included team travel, video operations, setup and breakdown of practice, recruitment mailings, database management and various gameday duties assigned by the coaching staff.

Prior to UC Davis, Morosco served as a camp staffer at the Florida, Central Florida and VCU. He also spent the 2013-14 season traveling the country and observing the practice habits of LSU, Texas A&M, Wichita State, Oklahoma, Wyoming, Northwestern State, Stephen F. Austin, Central Arkansas, Central Oklahoma, Arkansas Fort Smith, VMI, UCF and VCU.

Morosco graduated Cum Laude from Florida in 2012 with a degree in political science.
