Binghamton men’s basketball coach Tommy Dempsey has added former College of Charleston assistant Andrew Wilson to his staff, the University announced on Tuesday. Wilson joins assistants Ben Luber and Lazarus Sims on Dempsey’s coaching staff for the 2012-13 season.
Wilson, who played collegiately at Florida State, spent the last six seasons as an assistant coach at Charleston under head coach Bobby Cremins. Recruited by Cremins out of high school, Wilson joined the CofC program in 2006 and helped lead the Cougars to an average of 22 wins a season and three postseason tournament appearances in six years.
