Black Hills State University head men’s basketball coach, Bradd Schafer, announced today the hiring of Sam Holden as the men’s assistant basketball coach. Formerly a graduate assistant for the Yellow Jackets, Holden will take the reins in his new position effective immediately.
Holden will take over a new role in his fifth season with the Black Hills State Men’s Basketball program. Sam joined the Yellow Jackets in the fall of 2008 as a student assistant coach before assuming his role as a graduate assistant coach for the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. Holden graduated from Black Hills State with a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science in 2010 and will earn his Master’s Degree in Strategic Leadership in May of 2012.
