Jason Baribeau has been named head men’s basketball coach at Blackburn College and began work on August 1. Baribeau comes from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln Nebraska, where he served as the top assistant for the previous four years.
During his time at Nebraska Wesleyan, Baribeau developed nine All-Great Plains Athletic Conference performers and coordinated the top defensive team in the conference. Prior to his stint at Nebraska Wesleyan, Baribeau served as an assistant coach at Hanover College in Hanover Indiana, and coached in New York at Cayuga Community College from 2004-06, and Keuka College from 2002-04. Baribeau got his coaching start as a student-assistant at his alma mater, The University of Wisconsin at Green Bay.
