Former Fairleigh Dickinson mens’ basketball player Mike Blackgrove was named the Director of Basketball Operations, Head Coach Greg Herenda announced.
"Mike will be a great addition to our basketball program, athletic department and our University," Herenda said. "Mike is a very talented young man who will bring great energy and expertise to us. As a graduate he will also prove to be a tremendous role model for all of our current student-athletes."
Blackgrove comes to FDU after coaching at Dominican the last two seasons, where he helped lead the program to the NCAA Tournament and a 22-7 record last year.
A four-year player for the Knights, Blackgrove graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in criminal justice, before receiving his masters’ degree in sports administration in 2011.
