Jim Boeheim surpassed Bobby Knight for sole possession of second place on the Division I all-time wins list with 903 victories after the his Syracuse Orange (13-1, 1-0) beat Rutgers (9-3, 0-1) in the Carrier Dome.

Now in his 37th year as the head coach at Syracuse, Boeheim’s record stands at 903-305. Boeheim now trails only Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski (940 wins and counting).
