Boeheim to retire in three years

Jim Boeheim will spend three more seasons as the head coach at Syracuse. The decision was announced today after Boeheim and Syracuse officials came to an agreement. Coach Boeheim will address the media Thursday morning at 10:00am.

Boeheim, 70, who lost 108 games from his win total due to NCAA sanctions, will enter next season with 858 wins. He will also be forced to sit out the first 9 games of the ACC schedule.

Also today, in the wake of the recent NCAA investigation, SU AD Daryl Gross announced that he has resigned.
