Lee Branscome has been named as an assistant coach at Chowan University. Branscome is a 2012 graduate of Chowan, was a four year member of the men’s basketball team, and served as captain during his senior year. Not only was Branscome an integral part of the basketball team, he was a leader off the court and in the community as well.
While earning his degree in Sport Science Physical Education, he was a Leadership Scholar during his time at Chowan, a member of the President’s List and Dean’s List, and a member of the Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society.
During his senior year, Branscome played an active role on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and was a nominee for the CIAA Lowe’s Senior Class Award.
Branscome has gained coaching experience as an associate at Accelerate Basketball Training facility in Charlotte, NC, and as a varsity assistant coach at Hickory Grove Christian High School.
