HoopDirt.com can now confirm that VMI head coach Duggar Baucom will be named as the next head coach at The Citadel. We have had Baucom as the #1 candidate here for the last few weeks. He has been at VMI since 2005 and went 151-159 during that time. Baucom was also the head coach at Tusculum (37-19 in 2 seasons). He beat out three other finalists – Tulane assistant Andy Fox, Bethel (MN) head coach Doug Novak, and Christopher Newport head coach John Krikorian. I have heard that the official announcement will be made on Monday.
