According to a CBSSports.com report, Cal will promote Wyking Jones to head coach replacing Cuonzo Martin. Jones had been at Cal for the past two seasons. Before that, he served as an assistant to Rick Pitino for four seasons. During his time on the Cardinals’ coaching staff, UofL’s combined record was 123-30. Louisville captured the 2013 NCAA Championship and reached two Final Fours. Jones has also worked at New Mexico, Pepperdine, and his alma mater Loyola Marymount. An official announcement is expected later today.
