In a fairly surprising move, Ron Everhart will not be retained as head men’s basketball coach at Duquesne. He had two years remaining on his contract. Everhart compiled a 99-89 record in six seasons at Duquesne (46-50 in regular season Atlantic 10 play). His team finished with a 16-15 (7-9 A10) record this year.

The search search for Everhart’s successor will begin immediately.
