Milan Brown has been fired as the head coach at Holy Cross. I was talking to a bunch of coaches about this one over the past few days – with one year left on his deal, the feeling was that he would either be extended or fired. I had some good sources telling me that he would be retained – I guess not! It looks like Holy Cross will pony up to pay his buy out which is reported to be in the $300-400K range. Brown took over for Sean Kearney in 2010 and compiled a 69-83 record (14-16 this season). More on this when the official statement is released.
