BREAKING: As Many as 4 College Coaches Charged in Corruption Scheme

The United States Attorney’s Office in the Southern District of New York just released documents related to a corruption scheme involving as many as four current college basketball assistant coaches.

There will be a press conference today at noon to announce charges of fraud and corruption in college basketball.  Federal criminal charges have been brought against ten people, including four college basketball coaches, as well as managers, financial advisors, and representatives of a major international sportswear company.  The press conference will be livestreamed on Facebook @USAOSDNY.

Two PAC-12 assistants and a Big 12 assistant have also reportedly been charged.

**UPDATE: Multiple published reports are confirming that the other 3 coaches are: Arizona’s Emanuel “Book” Richardson, Oklahoma State’s Lamont Evans and USC’s Tony Bland. Adidas’ Director of Global Sports Marketing is also reportedly involved.

CBSSports.com reported that the four basketball coaches were arrested late Monday.
