Western Kentucky has confirmed that they have fired head coach Ken McDonald. Assistant Ray Harper will assume the duties as the interim head coach for the rest of the season. Before this season, McDonald accepted a $100,00 pay cut to remain as the head coach, so this is not an unexpected move. Last night’s loss was apparently the icing on the cake – Louisiana Lafayette beat WKU on the last possession while having 6 men on the court!
