Ralph Willard will resign today as the head coach at Holy Cross and join good friend (and former boss) Rick Pitino at Louisville. Several sources have confirmed that he will meet with his team today to discuss his departure.
This is a great job, and there will be a ton of quality guys that get involved here. Look for local product Tom Herrion (associate coach at Pitt, former head coach at Charleston) and former BU head coach Dennis Wolff to get involved. Also top assistant Andy Sachs should be considered.
