Multiple sources have told me that Rider head coach Tommy Dempsey is headed to Binghamton where he will replace Mark Macon. The deal will be finalized this morning, and he will be introduced as early as tomorrow. Dempsey, who is a Scranton, PA native (about an hour from Binghamton), was 119-105 in his 7-years at Rider. Look for Rider associate head coach Kevin Baggett to be the leader to replace Dempsey. He has been on staff there for the past six seasons.
